CHARDONNAY 2008
CHARDONNAY 2008
The choice grapes for this wine are cultivated with great care on the cool stony slopes of the Klaas Voogds Valley. A small quantity of full ripe grapes are crushed in the early morning, prepared in the uniquely designed cellar and then fermented and aged in new French oak barrels for 5 months.
Intense green-yellow colour with rich citrus and ripe tropical fruits on the nose. The palate shows crispy, full ripe fruit flavours and the wood plays an important supporting role for a longer aftertaste. Interesting ageing potential.
